The Oasis Shop

Our boutique charity shop in Margate is packed with quality second-hand clothes, shoes, accessories, homeware and toys, for you to give as you find feel-good new items.

Survivors have often had to leave everything behind when they come to us. Gifts of good quality clothes, shoes, accessories and unused toiletries can really help them to settle in as they start their journey towards a life free from abuse.

So far, your donated items have helped provide new outfits for survivors to boost their self-esteem and go to job interviews, homeware for their new safe accommodation and toys for children in refuge to play with and feel comforted.

If you love retail, want to gain experience, or just enjoy meeting new people and championing our work, we’d be so pleased to hear from you.

Our shop volunteers assist with processing donated items, preparing and pricing stock, serving our lovely customers and keeping the shop floor looking sparkling, inviting and safe.

You choose when you give your time, and we’ll provide the training and opportunity to learn new skills and work with friendly, passionate people.
