A night under the stars, transforming futures for survivors of abuse.
Are you a big-hearted business leader who’s up for a challenge? Could you sleep outdoors, in the iconic Leeds Castle, to support those made homeless by domestic abuse?
All you need is a sleeping bag, a desire to make change, and a commitment to raise at least £1,000 to help those who are homeless.
CEO Sleepout is a global phenomenon, which has already brought together thousands of individuals from the business world and raised over £3.8 million for UK homelessness charities. Oasis is delighted to be involved for a third year in 2027. Will you join us? Register your details now to receive information about the 2027 event as soon as it is released.
“I did it! A deeply humbling and unforgettable experience. It hit me really hard. How do people survive without a roof over their heads?”
Last year, 6 amazing individuals raised over £22,000 for Oasis.
Over 1,100 adults were made homeless due to domestic abuse in Kent in 2022/3
Home should be a safe place. But for thousands across Kent & Medway, it isn’t. It is a place of anxiety, terror and violence. We support hundreds of adults and children each year who have no other option but to leave home. They are homeless. At Oasis we offer them a refuge; it isn’t quite home, but it’s a place of safety and security in which to recover, heal from trauma and take the first steps to building a new life. When they are ready, we help those families move into their own accommodation, where they can build their own home, and a new future.
Frequently asked questions
You don’t have to be a CEO; we are looking for business executives and professionals to join us.
You will arrive in the evening and meet the other business superstars! Soup and hot drinks will be laid on before you spend the night under the stars. You can bring what you would like to sleep on and in, but it needs to be open to the elements . There will be an opportunity to hear more about the work of the charities who are being supported, and to network with the rest of the group. Camaraderie is guaranteed! After breakfast the next morning, you’ll no doubt leave with a huge sense of fulfilment, knowing that you have supported those who have lost their home.
The beautiful Maiden Tower at Leeds Castle.
The aim of the challenge is to raise awareness of homelessness in Kent, and to raise money for the charities who are tackling it. All participants sign up to raise at least £1,000 in sponsorship, but the sky’s the limit – there will certainly be an element of competition between businesses!
All of the money you raise will go towards tackling homelessness and changing lives.
75% will be used by Oasis in supporting families who are made homeless due to domestic abuse.
25% will be divided between homelessness charities in the UK by CEO Sleepout UK.
“Waking up to the sound of ducks flying overhead, to see the mist rising over the moat of the castle – it was something very special. To be doing it to help people who are living with abuse? Amazing.”
I’m ready to sign up!
