Oasis Training offers tailored programmes to meet your organisation’s needs, enhancing knowledge and support around domestic abuse. Whether your organisation works directly with clients experiencing domestic abuse or aims to better support colleagues, our tiered programmes are designed to provide accessible and appropriate training for every level of employment.

A focus on deepening domestic abuse awareness after completion of Tier One training, which can be tailored to your needs. It covers key definitions, perpetrator tactics, case studies, making a safe enquiry, safety planning with the victims.

Who is it for:
Professionals who have client contact but not in a support role, e.g. receptionist, housing maintenance

How long is the training:
3.5 to 6 hours, depending on your needs

Requirements:
Tier One to have been completed or a basic understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse

Delivery:
In person or online, group session

Focus on organisational responses to staff and client experiences of domestic abuse, as well as vicarious trauma, tailored to your needs. We are also able to support with policy and process writing.

Who is it for:
Managers, supervisors and DA Advocates (the nominated people within teams who staff can approach about client or personal experiences of domestic abuse)

How long is the training:
6 hours

Requirements:
Tier two to have been completed or an understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse through professional or personal experience.

Delivery:
In person or online, group session

Training for frontline professionals

Focus on the DASH Risk indicator Checklist training followed by a session on safety planning training to ensure that risks identified by the DASH can be appropriately managed.
