The Oasis Shop
"The Oasis Shop" opened November 2014 to help us raise money to support victims of abuse.
Our shop, 170 Northdown Road, has a boutique feel. We have stocked our rails with a fantastic mix of high street brands and designer offerings, from this seasons trends to a bit of retro chic, new and used.
We also have a large children's section full of shoes, dresses and accessories - the outfits that our shop manager Kathy puts together are always really popular!
If you can't get down to our shop or just prefer a bit of online browsing you can catch up with our ebay shop.
Donating items to Oasis:
We rely on your support, by donating things that you no longer wear or use you can help raise money for victims of abuse.
You are welcome to drop off donations at the shop during our opening hours or if you can't get to us, we can arrange for one of our team to collect from you.
Our shop does not sell toys and very little home-ware; this is because all of these items are given directly to those we support. Residents at our refuge sort through the items, choosing what they would like to keep and what will go to the shop to raise money. If you would like your donation to go directly to the women at the refuge please specify this when you drop it off or talk to a member of our team prior to arranging collection.
All proceeds from our shop are used to directly benefit our clients, families affected by domestic abuse, as well as funding our early intervention work with children and young people in the local community.
We are unable to sell:
- Electrical goods
- Damaged or broken items
- Safety items like crash helmets and children's car seats
- Due to space limitations we cannot accept furniture at the shop
