Rachel's story

"Rachel can now make decisions about how to move forwards"

When cases of domestic abuse reach court, it can be really stressful. Rachel was referred to us for support around a court case involving her ex-partner. We helped her to find housing and clothes for her children.

How we work with businesses & organisations

We believe that it’s everybody’s business to know, see and speak out about domestic abuse. 2.4 million adults experience domestic abuse in England and Wales (ONS, 2022). That’s 5% of people aged 16 years and over.

No one should suffer at the hands of the person who is supposed to love them. We all have a responsibility to help people affected by domestic abuse.

As an employer, colleague or community group you can help, by learning more about domestic abuse, developing support policies and how to signpost someone you know to the right services.

Whatever stage you are at in your journey – as a professional or organisation – we can help you to build the best domestic abuse practices, policies and awareness-raising initiatives.

Watch our series of webinars

We’ve created a series of training webinars with partners across Kent and Medway which provide important information and insights into domestic abuse. Delve into the training library – each webinar is between 15 minutes and 1 hour – watch them at a time that suits you, then share with your colleagues and networks.
