Emma's story

Days before Christmas last year, Emma was admitted to hospital in Margate. After decades in an abusive marriage, her life had reached its darkest point. Exhausted, broken and afraid of going home, she had no idea what would happen next.

Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to step in when Emma’s situation reached crisis point. Oasis’ Hospital Support Worker, Lucy, helped Emma find a room in our refuge and arranged the mental health support she desperately needed to begin healing.

Thank you
