11-25 

MALE MENTORING: 

This service is available for boys aged between 11 and 18;

  • who have experienced domestic abuse within their family home;
  • are at risk of entering into abusive relationships in the future; and/or 
  • are at current risk within an abusive relationship

POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS:

This service is for girls 11-15 who:

  • are excluded or missing from education
  • with a conduct disorder and low attainment
  • who are already parents and/or have experienced domestic abuse
  • ho have learning disabilities and are in mainstream education  
  • who have siblings that are teenage parents and/or who have entered into coercive and violent relationships
  • who have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse within the family home

YOUNG ADULT MENTORS:

This service is available to young women aged between 16 and 25;

  • who have experienced domestic abuse within their family home;
  • are at risk of entering into abusive relationships in the future;
  • and/ or are at risk currently within an abusive relationship

Freedom Programme 

The Freedom Programme is free and open to any women who wants to know more about domestic abuse. The aim of the groups is to help women understand the beliefs held by abusers and the effects upon children, whilst helping them gain the confidence to improve the quality of their lives and identify the local resources that can help.
