How your donations help

Donations enable us to offer additional services such as our work with children and young people, for which we receive no central funding. They also allow us to give more to the families that come to us. Many families arrive at the refuge with only the clothes on their back, when they flee, families often have to leave behind daily essentials along with their most treasured possessions, and children often have to leave behind all of their toys.

When families are ready to move into their new homes after living in the refuge, they have to start from scratch.

Supporting Oasis with a regular gift is one of the best ways you can help us achieve long-term goals. Your money helps us to support victims of abuse and helps them build a better future.

It is really simple to set up a regular monthly or yearly donation. For you, they’re easy to set up and manage, so you’re always in control of your donations. For us, they make it easier to plan for the long term and help reduce admin costs, so more of your money makes it to the front line.

To do this you can head to our just giving page via the button below.

Or if you’d prefer you can download this Monthly Sign up Form and send it back to us at

PO Box 174
Margate

Don’t forget to Gift Aid it to make the most of your donation!

Opt into Gift Aid and donate at least 25% more to Oasis at no extra cost to you!

Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways for UK taxpayers to give money to charity. It is a scheme introduced by HMRC which allows us to increase the value of your donation by at least 25% at no additional cost to you! For example, if you give us £5 a month, we can claim an extra £1.25, making your gift worth £6.25 a month!

To Gift Aid a donation, simply download and print a Gift Aid Declaration form and send it to: Claire Fenley, Oasis Domestic Abuse Service, PO Box 174, Margate, Kent, CT9 4GA or email it to fundraise@oasisdomesticabuseservice.org

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis to the charity of their choice.

Payroll Giving is one of the most tax-effective methods of giving to charity. Donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, or 60p if you're a higher rate tax payer.

How it works

This table shows how giving through your salary each month can really add up for the charity:

Talk to your payroll department to see if you can contribute to charity via GAYE and HMRC will meet part of your donation. Visit www.payrollgivingcentre.org.uk or www.cafonline.org to find out more.
